al-Jazā’ir Airways application

Hello Infinity members,

I would like to submit Al-Jazair Airways application for to become a member of such a vast and rule-obeying alliance.

First of all let me say I understand that there is a 4-week minimum on the airline age, however I would like to submit this even though my airline is only three weeks old now with mind that these negotiations may take some time.

To answer the questions in the sticky:

- Do you have a clear goal for your airline?

Yes, the goal of al-Jazair Airways is primarily the area of domestic market and Maghreb area. Due to the historical and economic reasons we also plan a strong focus on French and possibly Spanish market. Later on we would like to start regular flights to all the major cities in Europe/Africa, Asia and USA. The main focus however will still be on the domestic / passengers from the Magreb which we would like to feed to our main flights and vice versa as this area is currently very neglected.
There is also a plan to split the airline into two main companies - al-Jazair local which will deal with the Maghreb area and al-Jazair International which will serve medium and long-haul destinations.

- How can we help you?

Algier airport is almost devoid of life and as we plan to increase the international net as a second or third step in our developement, Infinity can strongly help with the passengers flown in Algier. If the alliance will provide enough inflow we can then cover vast portion of Africa (2+ airports) with daily connections to help our partners.

- How can you help us?

A lot of airports in the Magreb area has no or minimal airline connection. We strive to bring this market to the world and if that world is Infinity, better for us all.

- Are you an active player?

Yup, preatty much. I log in several times a day usualy.

- Do you have any preexisting commitments to particular airlines or groups of airlines?

not really although I try to be on good terms with my Marrocian neighbour and in turn he is being friendly to me.

First question: Your airline is young, which is fine to me, as it is not really 3 days old and located in a very interesting region . How is your financial situation after almost 3 weeks of operations, could you post your "Income Statement" perhaps or a screenshot from your "Facts & Figures".

thank you for your kind answer. To talk about my income is quite hard so I decided to take your advice and post my income statement. I apologize it is a bit small but as I work on a laptop I had to scale it down a bit. It's readable so I hope it's not a problem

Suffice to say I already made enough money for three additional Dash 8 planes that are already in my fleet. I choose to take them first as there is a big gap on the domestic market and it brings more income than uncertain Boeing operations.
