Radisair Indonesia

Hello Infinity members

After more than two years of successfull operation in Indonesia, Radisair is finally ready to join an alliance. The airlines financial situation is very stable with many highly profitable routes and a very solid financial base with more than 70 accquired airplanes. Radisair have a total fleet size of 150 planes. Its my goal to finally provide flights to every indonesian airport as well as many important cities worldwide. Radisair Indonesia is the oldest and still the largest airline in Indonesia but has recently become a very fast growing competitor, which forces my airline in a "low price battle".

Radisair want to strenghten its position in Indonesia and is therefor looking for a strong and well organzied alliance like yours. As you have currently no partner in Indonesia I think my airline could be a great addition the Infinity alliance.

In the meantime if any members have questions for you they will post them here and likewise should you have any further questions feel free to post them here also.

First point to make, as an alliance we obviously like to keep most of our traffic within the alliance and as a result we tend to not IL with airlines in other major alliances (were not too fussy about independent airlines so long as they arent in competition with our members). So should your application be successful we'd be asking you to cut certain ties with rival alliance airlines. Of course the plus side of this is you get all the Infinity ILs (I know you have quite a few already) and obviously we will not be cooperating with your mentioned competitor. So is that something your ok with?

Sounds good. Radisair will cancel interline contracts with airlines which directly compete with alliance members if at the same time every member accept Radisair Indonesia as the only partner in Indonesia.

Currently I am considering to set up some "cargo only" routes within Indonesia. In a first step, I would expand my existing cargo terminal at CGK and add a new airplane type to the fleet. The cargo flights would be directly operated by Radisair Indonesia so there would be no seperate cargo airline. Further I will add more flights to some existing PAX routes to keep up with my competitor.
As I am trying to keep the leasing cost low, Radisair will continue to buy airplanes which had been leased before.
